Consultant, Inception Job at Insurance Australia Group – in Sydney NSW
We currently have multiple Permanent Full-Time, opportunities for Inception Claim Consultants to join our high performing IAG team. These roles will be based from our Parramatta office but are Work From Home.
In this position you will be responsible taking inbound calls for the lodgement and assessment of claims, liaising with customers, speaking to internal and external parties to coordinate claim resolution and maintaining concise records. To be successful in this position, we are looking for self-sufficient, customer focussed individuals with excellent communication skills, strong ability to build rapport, show empathy to our customers in their time of need and identify sale opportunities that are in line with customer’s needs.
These roles will be commencing on 1st November 2021, with a variety of Full-Time shifts available. You will receive 50% loading on a Saturday. To apply, please ensure you have full availability to work on a rotating roster between the below times within the shifts available:
3 x Monday – Friday, 10-8pm (7.5 Hour Shifts)
6 x Tuesday – Saturday, 10-8pm (7.5 Hour Shifts)
3 weeks of Full-Time paid training (8.30-5pm) will be provided and will be Work From Home at this time. Once you finish training, your allocated roster will begin.
Lodging new claims and providing coverage decisions within policy guidelines
Accurately record and manage customer claims
Continuously demonstrate your willingness to learn and develop your insurance knowledge
Attend and partake in the office-based training and team meetings
Transfer of calls to stakeholders
